Designed to securely carry up to 6 rods, the ARC's patented telescopic design adjusts from 6'6" to 10 feet while mounted and accommodates virtually every rod style. Rods up to 10 feet fit fully assembled, while longer rods are designed to stay fully rigged by simply breaking them in half for transport. A generous 22" reel compartment, oversized proprietary suspended soft-wall liners, and modular organization system—including compatibility with our optional Flex-Lock Rod Keepers—keep everything protected, organized, and ready to reconnect in seconds.

Made using purpose-built materials throughout, the ARC combines aerospace-grade anodized aluminum for structural strength, UV-stabilized engineering-grade ABS for impact resistance, stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance, and rubber-overmolded protective touch points that cushion and safeguard your rods and reels.

Q: How many rods can it hold?
A: The ARC System is designed to carry 2–6 rods, depending on reel size and handle length. Some customers fit 8+, while larger surf and specialty setups may fit fewer. Check your setup against the ARC dimensions for the best fit.

Q: How long does it take to install?
A: First time? Give yourself about 20 minutes. Done it before—or generally know your way around a few tools? 10 minutes is easy.

Q: Does it lock?
A: Yes! The reel compartment has a push button, lockable latch, and each mount has a secure, all metal locking system.

Q: How long of a rod can I put inside?
A: The ARC fits rods up to 10' fully assembled. For longer rods, we designed the system so you can keep them rigged, break them in half, and secure them inside the oversized liners using our Rod Keepers and internal bungee system. This lets you carry longer rods without making the carrier itself excessively long on your vehicle.

Q: How large of a reel will it hold?
A: The ARC reel box has 7" of internal height, but that’s not the maximum reel size. The large compartment and interchangeable dividers are designed to let you stagger and angle larger reels to make the most of the available space.

Q: How big are the rod tubes inside the carrier?
A: Each internal liner is 3.3" in diameter.

Q: How wide of a spread do I need on my crossbars?
A: We recommend a minimum of spacing of 32" between crossbars.

Q: Can I take the ARC System through a car wash?
A: NO. Do not bring your ARC System through an automated car wash. As with most roof racks and rack accessories, the mechanical elements of the car wash can become entangled and damage your ARC System, your vehicle, and the carwash itself.
