  • Ty Webb learned to fly fish in the cedar swamps of northern Michigan and on the legendary waters of the Au Sable River, where he developed a deep passion for the sport early on. He began his fly fishing career at Bob Marriott’s Fly Fishing Store and soon moved into guiding, laying the foundation for what’s become a decades-long career in the industry.

  • Adam Aikens grew up conventional fishing in Fargo, North Dakota before moving to Michigan in 2015 where he was introduced to fly fishing by the pastor of his church after complaining to him about the lack of walleye fishing in the area. Walleye fishing soon felt like a distant memory as Adam took advantage of the many opportunities to fly fish for trout and steelhead in Western Michigan.

  • Kendell was born and raised in Alberta, spending summers camping, mountain biking, hiking and chasing trout on the East slopes of the Rockies and in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. Attending Montana Tech and living in Montana grew his passion for fly fishing and outdoor adventure, it also found him a Montana girl who shares the same passion! Highwood Wild was born from this passion for the outdoors. Kendell, his wife and their son spend summers roaming around the Alberta and BC Rockies in their Four Wheel Camper and Avon raft, chasing trout and adventure! They live in High River, AB along the banks of the Highwood River.
