You've been asking for a longer Euro length rod carrier, so we went ahead and made one. The Euro Fly Rod Edition of the CRC System is the longest fly rod carrier on the market and accommodates two rods up to 11'6".
Adjustable Convenience
The patented telescopic design means the Euro Fly Rod Edition adjusts to four different lengths with the push of a button. You can easily adjust or mount your CRC System to the length you need for the rods you want to carry. Tip: Mount the carrier in 3/4 length and carry rods up to 9' long, extend the carrier out to the euro rod 11'6" when you're ready to bring your longest rods.
Ultra-aerodynamic Design
The sleek shape of the Euro Edition CRC System fly rod carrier is the quietest, lowest drag design available. The split air foil design cuts through wind by directing air flow in the same way as an airplane wing. Also, it looks damn cool.

As a point of reference, there is about a three (four?) year separation between my first and second CRC purchase. The first notable change that I noticed was the placement of the entry location for the clamping hardware. My original CRC had the entry locations oriented toward the front of the rod carrier. As shown in the attached image, the entry location is now towards the rear and the slot nearly reaches the reel box. This change does not materially effect my situation. However I can see where the change could make a difference for someone else.
Another notable change involves the door seals. The older version simply has two edges which overlap each other. The newer version uses two outer and one inner edge to create a tighter seal. I would expect this newer design to be better at keeping the water and grime out.

Well constructed and easy to fit to my truck racks. T-Slot mounting is rugged and easy to adjust. Storage is a breeze with telescoping / collapsing feature. Highly recommended.
Reels Up Design
Reels-up won't break rods/guides. Other "rod vault" style carriers will break your gear. When the reels face down, impacts and stress are transferred to the rod guides during travel, and this orientation creates snag-ups when inserting and removing the fly rod.
