A year-round athlete and coach, Shannon is the owner and head coach of Girls with Grit Adventure Co., where she empowers women through fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, river SUP, yoga, and horseback riding. Her clinics, retreats, and lessons are designed to help women build confidence, community, and a lifelong love for adventure.

When she’s not guiding or coaching, Shannon channels her creative energy into Mahre Media, her professional adventure photography and writing company that’s been capturing outdoor stories for nearly two decades.
Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring the mountains with her husband and two young boys, living the adventurous lifestyle she inspires others to pursue every day.
